Should You Attend The Next Invest Fest?

If you are a business owner or entrepreneur, you may wonder if it is worth going to events. You don't have to go to events to grow your business, but you can benefit from them. There are many details involved in growing your company, and the different types of available gatherings are not something you should miss. Things have changed drastically in the last few years, but the need to build relationships with other people will never change.

When you go to a meetup, it is not just about fun. It is about getting to know competitors, getting news in your industry, introducing yourself to clients, meeting potential investors, and more. Invest Fest is one such events. Since 2023 is almost over, attending this year's Invest Fest is too late. There is a reason, though, to keep an eye out for next year's. But first, what is Invest Fest?

What Invest Fest Is All About

Investfest is for entrepreneurs and small business owners to collaborate in an upbeat, energetic place rather than the drudgery of another office. Live performances, food trucks, open bars, and other activities will be a break from your regular hustle and bustle. What you will get depends on the tickets you buy, so you should make your choice based on what you will most likely enjoy.

Of course, business affairs are the main part of this event. You will be able to enjoy interviews with other business owners and celebrities as well as a conference where experts share their knowledge of finance and business spanning different industries. Additionally, there is a vendor marketplace featuring hundreds of small businesses. That would be a perfect opportunity to network with like-minded people and exchange ideas.

If you become a vendor yourself, you can have a good time meeting potential customers. Social media is the primary advertisement method for businesses today, but nothing replaces face-to-face conversations. You may even make connections with complementary businesses. Investfest is an event that uplifts black entrepreneurs and helps them find investors. Speakers this year addressed the obstacles and concerns black Americans have when investing and starting businesses.

What Attendees Say About Invest Fest

What do attendees say about Invest Fest? It depends. Some loved it. Others were disappointed. For starters, the cost of some of the tickets is high depending on what you buy. The lowest ticket price gives you just a virtual version of the event. You can listen to all of the speeches live or listen to the recordings after the event. If you are just looking to get some financial education, this is ideal.

The other tickets give different things. These range from the vendors' marketplace, hotel accommodation, live performances, access to bars and clubs, and meals. These things are not everyone's cup of tea. Some of these things might be more cost-effective to arrange yourself depending on your budget. It's your business at stake, so you should make every dollar in your budget count. There are other business events out there, so keep an eye out for the best ones for your needs.

Meanwhile, reviews on social media are not in short supply. J Nolan's Youtube video goes through some of the opinions others have given about the event. Take a look at it below:

Meanwhile, Anna Auzon makes her own video where she walks around and talks to vendors about how they felt about the event. Check it out below:
